Davis Fried Rice

Heading into my junior year of college, I have tried numerous fried rice dishes in Davis. They are all really good, it's just that some stand out more than others. For instance, Jade Garden offers a variety of Fried Rice dishes. From the standard Chicken Fried Rice to Roasted Duck and Pineapple Fried Rice. Which is yummy.

Noodle City Fried Rice

Noodle City, located at 129 E St. #D1, where it is tucked away inside "Orange Court." This is one of the best restaurants in Davis. I have been there on numerous occasions and they always left me smiling when I'm finished. The fried rice is $5.50 or $6.50, depending if you want pork/chicken or shrimp fried rice, but the quantity they give you seems like it could serve four! Not only is the quantity of fried rice sufficient, so is the quality. It is one of the best tasting fried rices I have ever tried. On the downside though, the "Vegetarian Fried Rice" is not as good as the meat-filled fried rice dishes.

Silver Dragon Fried Rice

Silver Dragon Restuarant, located on the corner of Fourth and F Street, is a Chinese restuarant. The fried rice is good. I give it a 4.00/5.00 . The quantity is worth it's price of around 5 dollars. Overall, one of the better fried rice dishes in Davis.

So far during my education at UC Davis, I have learned a lot of things. One of them is that there are some good Fried Rice dishes in Davis and that there are some not so good ones. I am here to discuss 1) the quality of all the fried rice dishes I tried, 2) the pleasure one gets from eating the fried rice, and 3) the overall taste of the many fried rice dishes there are in Davis. And also some random stuff about FRIED RICE!!!
